NCR Splitter Tunnels

After looking at the free and paid options online, we’ve designed our own splitter tunnels and are now offering those to other budget aero enthusiasts.

Splitter Tunnels will increase the total downforce of your front splitter, even more so when used in conjunction with 1 or 2 guard vents (like the ones we use from CircuitWorx) to evacuate the high pressure zones. These are a great way to improve the effectiveness of your front splitter without increasing total splitter length.

We have two options available, a straight PETG version and a stronger, lighter, and better looking PETG-CF version – these are only be made with Bambu filaments.

The CF version is approx 130g lighter per pair (PETG items are less than 400g each). The standard PETG ones will have more visible layer lines in certain light – pics of both are labelled below. This is still 3d printing so some layer lines/mild colour transitions between rolls/zits and other random imperfections etc are to be expected at times on both versions and is considered normal.

Tunnels measure 250mm total length x 200mm total width x 70mm total height. Flanges are 20mm on the sides and 10mm on the front leading edge. We can make them a bit wider/narrower if required, please reach out.

Cost is $175 for the straight PETG, $200 for the CF version delivered anywhere in Aus and these are made to order. These will also usually come with a sticker or two, when available. International shipping is available, but will be quoted.

Anyone ordering a string line kit at the same time will get a 10% discount on the total order. If you have a string line kit already and would like some tunnels you will receive a 10% discount on the tunnels.

Please note the install information below as it contains important information.

Install Notes:

– The CF version contains Carbon Fibre and appropriate care should be taken at all times. You are advised to use PPE when handling, cutting, drilling, or interacting with these items in any way. We use a 3M P100 respirator, eye protection, and disposable nitrile gloves during the production/install process and encourage you to do the same.

– You MUST first drill a pilot hole for any fasteners used during installation, this includes self taping screws. Failure to do so may crack the flange. PETG and PETG-CF are both very impact resistant, but are not highly flexible and forcing a large drill bit or a self taper through the flange in particular can cause it to break.

– You may cut away any flange as required for fitment, including the rear most flange with the No Crust Racing logo, the tunnels are designed to allow this. Do not use excessive pressure when cutting material away.
